Service Hub Certification

Free, a few hours of video and a multiple-choice exam. Genuinely useful for the right person, and often taken by the wrong one.

What it covers

HubSpot Academy runs free certifications, and the Service Hub track covers the customer service framework HubSpot teaches, plus practical configuration: tickets, pipelines, the knowledge base, feedback surveys and reporting.

The exam is multiple choice with a pass mark, retakeable, and the certification carries an expiry so it needs refreshing.

Who it helps

New admins. It shortens the "where is that setting" phase considerably.
Agencies and partners. Clients look for the badge, and it is a cheap credibility signal.
Anyone inheriting an existing setup. Understanding how HubSpot intends the tool to be used explains a lot of otherwise confusing configuration.

It helps agents working tickets much less. Their productivity comes from macros, snippets and process, not from the certification syllabus.

What it will not teach you

How to staff for your arrival curve. How to set a response target you can hit on your worst week. What to do when one customer raises the same problem three times in an hour.

Certification teaches the tool. Running a queue is a separate skill, learned mostly by reading your own data.
